Comment: I am so happy we are having another reunion.  I have never been back for one.  I dropped out of college after 1.5 years to get married.  I have two sons, 42 and 39, one grandson 18 and another grandchild(other son) due in November.  I am very excited.  It took me a long time to graduate from college, but finally did in 1978.  I am celebrating my 30th anniversary with Solvay Advanced Polymers.  I am married for the second time and this time is a charm.  See ya'll on September 20th for a fun time!

Comment: Hi, Everyone!  I look forward to meeting many of you again this September.  I moved back to Michigan in 2003 to get to know my grandsons, Ethan and Cameron.  For thirty years previously I'd lived in Toronto, working in advertising media.  Now I've trained as an English teacher for another late-in-life sort-of career!  Naturally the only pictures I have on file are of my grandsons.  I'll hunt around and post later. Please get in touch (email: aq3616@wayne.edu) ; I'd love to hear from you.

I wonder how many of us 18-year-old sophisticates could have written the script we’ve all been living since then.  Certainly not I!  After graduation, I went to Oakland U. on the trimester program, married a Seaholm classmate and taught high school English for about one semester before leaving to have my first son.  Three wonderful little boys (all so supercharged you’d swear they were shot from a cannon) and 10 extremely difficult years later I sought a divorce.  Later I married my dear husband Murray whom I met in church choir and we’ve enjoyed more than 30 years together.  Among his 3 kids and my 3 there are 15 grandchildren.  We moved to Acton, Massachusetts, shortly after we married and then to Ridgewood, NJ, where we spent 22 years and sank deep roots.   During that time I found my way to public relations and marketing communications, eventually striking out on my own consulting.  Loved the variety of projects and clients, but especially handling international trade show projects (Paris Air Show and others).  As an active Rotarian, I served as photo-journalist for a surgical mission to Patagonia, a life altering experience.  In 2002, we moved to Virginia and built a home just outside of Charlottesville (Mr. Jefferson’s county).  Now I’m the Communications Director for the University of Virginia School of Nursing and still manage to do the occasional trade show project.  Can’t even imagine retirement!  Still a lot of script to write and live.

I was really hoping to come but can't during the week fue to my job, so next time have it on a weekend.  I have been a social worker for 44 years going from direct service to management of agencies/divisions to now a social work professor at Castleton State College, Vermont.  I lived in Boston for 20 years and am back in Vermont for the past 25 where we lived when I was a young child and have had a summer mountain top retreat since 1948.  I love Vermont.  My sister, Jennifer, in the class of 1962 who some of you may remember, is a retired research chemist in NC.  My brother Nathan class of 1966, is a recently retired psychiatrist and in NC.  So sorry I will miss the reunion.

I´ve been searching so many years, to find news from my class of ´63, I couldn´t  believe when I found we have a web. I´ve been many times at Birmingham, with my beloved Bell family, in the last 50 years but nothing about my classmates.

I´ll be with you the week of September  21. I´ll be happy if anyone contacts me before. My love to all.

Occupation: retired elementary school teacher
Comment: My husband Randy and I have lived in Delaware since graduating from Michigan State. We have been married 41 years and have two daughters. Jennifer is 30 and Jessica is 27. We have three grand-kittens, but no grandchildren yet. I retired in 2003 after teaching elementary school for 36 years.  We have taken several trips...it's great to be able to travel during the school year...a real luxury of retirement. My favorite trip was to Kenya. I won't be at the reunion, but I hope everyone has a great time.
