I´ve been searching so many years, to find news from my class of ´63, I couldn´t believe when I found we have a web. I´ve been many times at Birmingham, with my beloved Bell family, in the last 50 years but nothing about my classmates.
I´ll be with you the week of September 21. I´ll be happy if anyone contacts me before. My love to all.

Really look forward to seeing as many of you as possible at the reunion. It's been fun working on it again and talking about old times.
I am enjoying my retirement. Love doing projects around the house and gardening in the spring and summer.
My husband and I have shared 41 happy years of marriage.
Still knitting-mostly for our three wonderful grandchildren-kids are so much fun!

How to account for 45 years, let’s see, went to University of Michigan. Discovered girls. Roomed with Bob Bentz of our class my junior year on the 19th floor of the, then brand new, University Towers and my senior year roomed with Mike McKenzie of our class in the typical Ann Arbor death trap apartment. Broke my leg into little pieces in a motorcycle accident, knew I wouldn’t be drafted. Got Drafted. Served 711 days as, get this, an MP! I watched trees grow in Germany, but did have a Top Secret Crypto-access security clearance. I’ve got great stories of military life, but then nobody every shot at me who wasn’t on our side. Went to Law School at Wayne on the GI bill and mom and dad. Got Married to Judy. Played criminal lawyer for a short while then went to work for the Oakland County Friend of the Court. Worked there for 24 years before moving on to become the FOC in Wayne County. Got kicked out of there and did private contracting computer work until retiring. Had two wonderful daughters, one was a runner and Kermit Ambrose was the starter at any number of her races. Judy and I babysit every Thursday for Leigh’s 2 ½-year-old twins, Casey and Zach. What a blast. Still run, own almost every tool known to man, and now spend my time driving Judy nuts. I really enjoyed my work, and I really enjoy being retired. I worked hard to reach “geezer status” and intend to revel in this exalted status as long as possible. |
